Primal Invocation

Welcome to my experimental spell. Over the years I’ve sampled many styles of casting and crafting magic. Each has its own unique feel and brings its own insights, eye-openers, perception shifters and myriad of results. I’ve toyed with creating my own, mingling the mystical flavours of several sources or expanding on existing mythos as I continue my own training. In the works of countless authors (yours truly included) melding magic with technology has been a fount of creative conjuration. Letting this girl’s mind spin and shape exciting and intriguing concepts for this union is the stuff that makes for provocative prose. Yet for all the literature one could use as a roadmap for melding these two mind-altering entities in our shared world, I have yet to come across any substantial developments in this wondrous dual layered expanse. Perhaps I simply haven’t found them yet but in the meantime I thought I would attempt my own exploration of a technique.

Here I will bind memories and thoughts to a spellform that exists in this electronic plane. Each emotion that rises from my words, each insight that springs from my thoughts connects another symbol to the design. Guided by my will and the connections to each spirit (be they woman, man, machine or one of the many others) the spell will evolve artistically creating a cascade of effects.
